Opting for an al fresco experience, we revelled in the stunning vistas of the Jumeirah La Mer area. Eunoia by Carine’s menu, curated by Chef Ani and Executive Chef Trevor Macleod, follows a sharing concept, delivering generous portions of delectable dishes crafted from fresh produce and the highest quality ingredients.

Starting our culinary journey, we were presented with freshly baked breads, setting the stage for an array of tantalizing dishes. Burrata et tomates cerises, poivron et pesto (Burrata with cherry tomatoes, capsicum, and pesto) showcased Chef Izu’s signature burrata nestled amidst juicy tomatoes. The Salade de carottes rapées, pistache et estragon (carrot salad with pistachio and tarragon) delighted with crunchy textures and understated flavors.
Prawns and More: Savory Delights
Indulging in Chef Izu’s prawns, mildly spicy with a buttery flavor, and the Tartare de thon avec vinaigrette à la truffle (tuna tartare with truffle dressing), we experienced a delightful medley of tastes. The cold and tender chunks of fresh tuna perfectly complemented the prawns.

A die-hard fan of French cuisine, I couldn’t resist the Tarte aux oignons à la crème fraiche (onion tart with crème fraiche), a hearty dish loaded with flavor. Our mains, featuring linguine au homard, à la tomate fraiche (lobster linguini with cherry tomato sauce) and Daurade grillé à l’huile de citron (grilled sea bream with lemon oil), showcased the richness of seafood flavors.

After delighting in the savory symphony of the main courses, we eagerly ventured into the enchanting realm of Chef Izu’s dessert creations, savoring each blissful bite as a culmination of our culinary odyssey. The first sweet masterpiece to grace our palates was the Cheesecake à la framboises, a decadent raspberry cheesecake that stood as a testament to Chef Izu’s mastery in achieving the perfect balance of flavors. The velvety richness of the cream cheese harmonized flawlessly with the vibrant sweetness of the raspberries, creating a sublime medley that lingered on the taste buds.
Next in line was the Cake au citron avec crème fraîche et glace Théo, an extraordinary lemon cake adorned with creme fraiche and a delightful touch of Theo ice cream.
